Travel Tips

There is so much to explore in Park City, and one place that is a must-see is the High West Distillery! This was Utah’s first distillery since the 1870’s, and it’s the only ski-in distillery in the world. Located in Old Town Park City next to the town life, this distillery is a stop you won’t want to miss on your next visit to Park City.

High West Distillery started with one man’s passion to make a great Rocky Mountain Whiskey. Join their whiskey experts for a tour of this historic distillery where they will walk you through their distillation process and you will get to see the blending, aging, and bottling operations. The tours generally take about 45 minutes, and afterwards you can choose to do an optional guided tasting of the most popular whiskeys in their tasting room. Tours are happening Wednesday through Sunday from 10:30am to 3pm and start on the hour every hour. Reservations are highly encouraged for these tours as they tend to book up fast.

Not only can you experience interesting tours and tastings at the distillery, but they also offer some delicious brunch options. On Sundays from 11am to 2:30pm, visitors can enjoy a brunch buffet for $55 per person that includes dishes from their cold or hot buffet. Some dishes you can enjoy from their hot buffet are waffles, pancakes, cinnamon rolls, eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, and they also have a carving station of whole roasted meats. The options from their cold buffet include house smoked trout, salad, cheese and charcuterie board, vegetables, granola station and a fruit and berry platter. They also have quite a bit of dessert options too!
