With 17 high-flying zip lines, eight suspension bridges, two free-fall attractions, and a crow’s nest, you’ll be sure to find your next thrill at this adventure park.

5 | The Mirror Maize | Step into a hall of mind-boggling mirrors at Branson Landing. It can be a fun challenge figuring out what’s real and what’s merely a reflection.

It takes less than an hour to go through the maze, and there are plenty of fun photo opportunities inside thanks to all the mirrors! After the maze, you can swing by one of the many amazing restaurants at Branson Landing, or catch the Branson Landing Fountain Show!

6 | Silver Dollar City | Silver Dollar City is a western-themed amusement park in Branson, MO. There are plenty of attractions suitable for small children, as well as bigger attractions for older kids.

There are many kid-friendly attractions to ride at Silver Dollar City, like the Firehouse Play Place., Fire Wagon Frenzy, Magnificent Wave Carousel, and Royal Tea Party spinning teacups.

Keep in mind that the park is a bit challenging to walk as you’re almost always moving uphill or downhill. Plan your footwear and any extra bags you carry accordingly.

7 | Branson Landing | Branson Landing is home to over 100 stores and restaurants. It sits across the Taneycomo Lakefront, featuring a 1.5-mile boardwalk.

The famous Branson Landing Fountain Show runs every day on the hour from noon to 10 p.m. The show lasts about five minutes, but a special 80 p.m. show runs around 15 minutes.

Kids will love the Fountain Show, and they’ll have fun exploring the boardwalk and grabbing a kids’ meal at one of the many restaurants available.

For free parking at Branson Landings, you can head to either side of the Promenade. Or covered parking spots are available in the Town Square and the Wharf District of the Branson Landing parking garage.

8 | Table Rock Lake | This man-made lake near Branson spans from southwestern Missouri in the Ozarks to northwestern Arkansas. Table Rock Lake was built by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and has an average depth of 220 feet.

You can swim at Table Rock Lake, but not near the marina or boat launch areas. If you enjoy fishing, the clear waters offer plenty of spotted bass, White bass, Smallmouth bass, Flathead catfish, Green and Longear sunfish, and more.

9 | Dogwood Canyon Nature Park | Dogwood Canyon Nature Park is a 10,000-acre outdoor oasis. Kids of all ages will have fun touring the scenic mountain trails, towering trees, and taking in the beautiful views and fresh air.

Many family-friendly activities are available, including horseback riding, Wildlife Tram Tours, and more. Please note, kids must be at least 8 years old and 48” tall to participate in horseback riding.

10 | Talking Rocks Cavern | There are over three miles of underground passages, crystal and cave formations, and even hidden lakes at Talking Rock Caverns.

Exploring Talking Rocks Cavern takes about an hour to complete, but two to three hours is more realistic if you want the full experience of going on a tour and digging for crystals. You can also participate in a 50-minute guided walking tour that goes nearly 100 feet underground!

11 | Titanic Museum | History comes alive at the famous Titanic Museum in Branson, MO. It takes about two and a half hours to experience everything, and guests will get to see recreated rooms, like the Grand Staircase and a passenger cabin. The museum’s exterior was built half the size of the original Titanic, which makes it even more mind-boggling to imagine the real thing.

You may wonder how the Titanic Museum wound up in Branson, Missouri. Founder John Joslyn spent many years exploring the real Titanic shipwreck and preserving artifacts. He decided on Branson, MO, for his museum after a letter from the Ozark Marketing Council asked him to visit.

12 | Hollywood Wax Museum | The wax museum in Branson is home to many figures of celebrities like Audry Hepburn, Robin Williams, Harrison Ford, Clint Eastwood, Katy Perry, and Bruno Mars.

This museum is a fun event for the whole family. You can take pictures with the models, use the free props, and even walk on the red carpet! And don’t forget to see all of the attractions like the Castle of Chaos, Hannah’s Maze of Mirrors, and Shoot for the Stars mini-golf make for an exciting afternoon.

Children four and up can participate in the Castle of Chaos, but the wax museum is open to all ages.

13 | Branson Celebrity Car Museum | If your child is a fan of the movie “Cars” or just loves cars in general, they’ll get a hoot out of this museum. The Branson Car Museum includes a life-size version of the Scooby Doo Mystery Machine, Lightning McQueen, and Mater.

Adults will get nostalgic when they see a real-life DeLorean, a “Jurassic Park” Jeep, and “National Lampoon’s” station wagon. For fans of “Stranger Things,” you’ll be able to snap a pic with Billy’s Camaro.

Up to 90% of the cars at the museum were actually used in the film or show they came from. With over 80 vehicles, it will take about an hour to race through the entire museum.

14 | World’s Largest Toy Museum | Also known as the BECK Museums of Branson, the world’s largest toy museum includes over one million toys across 35,000 square feet. The museum is really six museums combined to become the record-breaking experience that it is today.

Kids will have fun learning what toys looked like for grown-ups long ago, and you may find some familiar toys that tug on your heartstrings. From vintage Barbie dolls to 1950s dollhouses and mountains of board games, it’s a fascinating illustration of the history of play.

15 | Beyond the Lens! Branson | Beyond the Lens! is an interactive exhibit with over 150 attractions the whole family will love. From a famous FlyRide to virtual reality games, and more, it’s a fun way to spend an afternoon in the city.

It takes about two hours to experience everything at Beyond the Lens! if you’re taking your time. The FlyRide Flying Theater is a real showstopper! With four giant screens and full-motion movement that dips, tilts, and moves along with special effects like wind, you’ll feel like you’re really flying.

16 | Dolly Parton’s Stampede | Get ready to giddy up and be amazed at Dolly Parton’s Stampede!

This famous Branson dinner show includes costumed dancers on horseback and a four-course meal. The show features special tricks, special effects, and live music productions. It’s one of the top picks for family entertainment in Branson.

The menu includes a whole rotisserie chicken, hickory smoked BBQ pork loin, creamy vegetable soup, hot buttered corn on the cob, and Dolly’s famous hot apple turnover for dessert.

VIP options are available and include front-row seats, a cast member meet-and-greet, a special lanyard, a cheering flag, and souvenir photo.

17 | The Haygoods | The Haygoods is considered one of the best shows in Branson. The Haygood family performs covers of famous hits from the past and present to incredible special effects, including the world’s only indoor drone light show!

The Haygoods are a whole family — five brothers and one sister — who have been performing music for 32 years and counting.

From the 1960s to 2024, they perform covers of famous songs that will have the whole family dancing and singing along.

18 | The Butterfly Palace & Rainforest Adventure | Fall in love with over 1,000 butterflies who call this attraction home. A wide variety of species have all been imported from their native countries and live happily among the flowers, plants, and trees of the palace. With complimentary nectar flowers, you can feed butterflies and take dozens of beautiful photos you’ll cherish for a lifetime.

19 | Aquarium at the Boardwalk | The award-winning Branson Boardwalk Aquarium was voted GOLD BEST in Branson, MO, in 2022. The outside features a dazzling, enormous Pacific octopus, while inside, thousands of marine species are on display across the 46,000-square-foot complex.

Enjoy the jellyfish room, a 5D submarine adventure, mirrored art installations, and many types of sharks. And don’t miss the Mermaid Palace, an underwater paradise with a beautiful fortress, schools of sardines, and hundreds of seahorses on display.

Expect to take two to three hours exploring everything the aquarium has to offer. There is no restaurant on-site, but the gift shop sells over 70 types of candy, and there’s an ice cream shop outside.

20 | Branson’s Promised Land Zoo | The Promised Land Zoo in Branson sits on over 75 acres of Ozarks land. There are over 50 species on display, including giraffes, baboons, monkeys, sloths, a host of reptiles, and more.

You can go on a drive-thru safari, visit the petting zoo, and even feed some of the animals. Animal encounters are an extra charge, but they give you and your children the chance to meet and interact with wildlife up close.

With a basic admission ticket, the zoo experience lasts about two hours. While the Promised Land Zoo isn’t the biggest in Missouri (that’s the St. Louis Zoo), it is a family-friendly, paradise worth visiting.
